Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Daily Llama mobile app ("Daily Llama", "we", "us"). By using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the app.

Operator. Daily Llama is operated by Sergey Li, an individual entrepreneur (sole proprietor), trading as Alien Minds ("we", "us"). Contact: support@alienminds.net.

1. The service

Daily Llama is an automatically curated feed of AI-related news, tools, guides, research and videos, presented with original short summaries and links to the original sources. Summaries are generated by AI and may contain errors; always rely on the linked original source for important decisions.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Daily Llama.

3. Free use & subscriptions

Browsing the feed is free. Opening full stories is limited to three (3) reads; further reading requires a Premium subscription.

• Plans: Monthly ($3.99), Yearly ($19.99, with a 7-day free trial), and Lifetime ($49.99). Prices may vary by region and may change over time; the price shown at purchase applies.
• Billing: Subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store and charged to your Apple ID. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Free trial: If you don't cancel before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription. Any unused trial portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
• Manage / cancel: In your device's App Store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

4. Accounts for posting

You can browse anonymously. To submit links or report content you sign in with Apple or Google. You're responsible for activity under your sign-in and for keeping your device secure.

5. User-generated content & zero tolerance

Daily Llama lets users submit links to a Community feed. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. When you submit content you agree that you will not post anything that:

• is illegal, infringing, deceptive, spam, or pure self-promotion without substance;
• is hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or violent;
• is sexually explicit, or harmful to minors;
• contains malware, phishing, or links to any of the above;
• is off-topic (not related to AI).

You confirm you have the right to submit the link and its description. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, summarize and distribute your submission within the app.

Moderation, reporting & blocking

Submissions are screened automatically before publishing and may be held for review or rejected. Every user can report objectionable content and block an author from inside the app. We review reports and remove violating content, typically within 24 hours, and may suspend or ban users who violate these Terms. We may remove any content or user at our discretion.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no scraping or bulk extraction, no attempts to break security or rate limits, no interference with other users, and no use of the app to violate any law.

7. Intellectual property

The app, its design, wordmark and original summaries are owned by us or our licensors. Linked articles, images and videos belong to their respective owners; Daily Llama links to and embeds them under the providers' terms and does not host or rehost their full content.

8. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that summaries are accurate or complete, that the feed is uninterrupted, or that linked content is appropriate or available.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app or any third-party content. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; we'll revise the date above and, for material changes, note them in the app. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer protections you have under the laws of your country of residence.
